This is a used black Nikon FM camera body (ser # 2547950) with a problem. The wind lever and the shutter release, and shutter travel can work fine for a variable length of time. Then the wind lever seems to not travel quite far enough.

It then takes a few tries to finally cock the shutter. The meter indicates a good exposure at all times.

The top plate has brassing at the strap lugs, and a ding in the bottom left corner of the finder cover. The bottom plate has brassing on some edges, but no tripod circle or dings.

The viewfinder image is fine. The film door seals and mirror foam may need replacing. The film compartment is very clean. The shutter blades look fine. The AI ring turns smoothly.
